Mars
***Chris and Mars 6 days before Mars turned 18 months old. Mars weighed 110 lbs. on our vet's scales. He is still growing and will max out at 120 to 130. He is an awesome Olde! He is all muscle and there is no flab or fat on him. He can move and run just as fast as any other dog. Oldes are the true Bulldogs and have been around since Victorian times. Mars has excellent conformation and is show quality. We purchased him from an Olde breeder that helped start one of the Bulldogge Registries.

The Olde English Bulldogge was developed by David Leavitt. The breed was made up of half English Bulldog and the other half was made up of Bullmastiff, American Bulldog and Pit Bull. You cannot get a true Olde English Bulldogge by just mixing an English Bulldog and Pit Bull! This isn't the true Olde English Bulldogge. The Olde is a recreation of the ancient Roman day Bulldog. They are corageous and protective of their owners and make excellent family companions. They are gentle with their family and those they know but fearless when defending family and property. They are very athletic and have none of the breathing problems of the English Bulldog of today. They are natural breeders and natural whelpers, usually. They can withstand tempeatures of 100 degrees above and 50 degrees below zero. They range in size from 50 to 100 lbs. or more. Our male, Mars, is 115 lbs. and is large even for an Olde. Height is usually around 16 inches.
